Kajang by-election: Several NGOs vow to campaign against PKR

PETALING JAYA: Several NGOs in Kajang today stated their allegiance towards Barisan Nasional and vowed to campaign against opposition leader Datuk seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Pertubuhan Ikatan Usahawan Kecil dan Sederhana Malaysia (Ikhlas) president Mohd Ridzuan Abdullah said that Pakatan Rakyat and Anwar have not aided small and medium businesses in Kajang while they were in power and do not deserve their votes.
"There were many cases of demolitions of small business premises but they did nothing to help. It was us and Umno that helped these business people," he said.
Ridzuan added that they have lost trust in the party and believes that the Chinese members in the party are being made puppets by PR.
Ridzuan also questioned the willingness of former Kajang assemblyman Lee Chin Cheh to step down to make way for Anwar.
"We want MACC to investigate if there was any corruption involved in this matter," he said.
