Owner Of Black Perdana WA1 : Kereta Anda Halang Lalu Lintas

I dont know how long it will take for the Gomen to realise that Malaysia is NOT a Third World country and Kuala Lumpur is NOT Chittagong or Mogadishu.

Maybe in the 60s and 70s KL used to be like Chittagong or Mogadishu but not anymore. KL and the Greater Kuala Lumpur area have over 7 million people plus a couple of million more Banglas, Nepalis, Rohingyas, Africans, Iranians, Colombians and ramai lagi. Plus there are about 10 million vehicles in and around Kuala Lumpur.

So please do not close the roads for any reason. This tak masuk akal culture of closing the roads should really stop.

KL is not the place anymore to close the roads for one day, three days, five days etc to have the Merdeka Parade at Dataran Merdeka, the Hari Pahlawan Parade, bicycle races, jogathons etc especially at peak rush hours or from morning till night.

For a week before Merdeka the traffic jams were horrendous. Hundreds of thousands of people were late to work, people could not come into town unhindered and so businesses suffered losses. The traffic jams must have burned up tons of extra petrol and diesel as well as polluted KL with tons of extra carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide.

Kekawan sila gunakan otak ok - kita bebaskan diri daripada penjajahan British dan jadi negara Merdeka supaya hidup kita lebih bebas dan lebih selesa. But what is happening is the opposite - sesudah merdeka kita sempitkan lagi kehidupan kita dan menyusahkan lagi rakyat marhaen. Cuba fikir ok.

There is Stadium Bukit Jalil (belakang rumah saya), the Taman Tasik Titiwangsa and of course the world famous 5 km long Boulevard at Putrajaya as well as other more suitable places where we can have these parades, bicycle races, jogathons etc WITHOUT disrupting traffic, causing traffic jams or causing hardship for 7.2 million people.

The 5km long Boulevard at Putrajaya has been custom made and custom designed for National Day parades and major national events. Here is a picture. Isnt it just awesome and beautiful:

Boulevard Putrajaya - The perfect place to have parades

Now the roads are being closed again for the Hari Pahlawan thing. This morning the traffic policemen put up the barrier to close the road (depan Masjid Negara). It caused a huge jam and cars having to switch lanes. The traffic cop guy just stood behind the barrier and stared at everyone.  Langkah lah ke depan sikit and help to sort out the jam that you just caused. But nope. The guys just dont care. And right behind him two other traffic cops were sitting (yes sitting down) in the shade and chit chatting. Cars, motorbikes, buses and lorries were going crazy sorting themselves out.

Ok over the past few days that Black Perdana - plate number WA1 - in the picture above has been seen blocking traffic indiscriminately. Two days ago, around 8 PM at night that Black Perdana WA 1 and some escorts was parked on Jalan Parlimen in front of the National Press Club area. It was taking up a whole lane of Jalan Parlimen - causing a massive jam up of traffic coming up from behind. Depa tak peduli pun.

I think the car is used by the Datuk Bandar Kuala Lumpur. Datuk Bandar, if it was you, well I know you are the Datuk Bandar but that does not mean the roads in KL belong to your 'latuk'. What gives you the right to park your car right on the main road, closing off one whole lane? That is not a good example to show the public.

By the way to lighten up a bit, here is a story - dont know if it is a joke or a real story. The guy who told us this is a real joker though. Some school kids were asked "Namakan ibu negara Malaysia?" Their answer was "Rosmah Mansor" !!
