WHERE IS KU LI? Wau Bule Teraju Tiga

Wau Bule Teraju Tiga

Has anyone seen Tengku Razaleigh? Folks say he is away in London. Thats nothing surprising - it is the favorite getaway for many local folks. Though it is getting cold now I am told.

This time around however his timing is slightly off. Ku Li has been the perpetual contender for the UMNO Presidency. He has stood as a reliable presidential candidate and contender since Badawi's days. In fact you can say that Ku Li has helped preserve the tradition of democracy in UMNO. In the process he has also become a sideshow of sorts because he has never got near to winning the presidency or even throwing up a serious challenge to the incumbent.

This time around however he has disappeared, and to London. He is not contending the presidency. What could be more important in London than challenging the party president for the Number 1 job in the country? The Queen does not invite guests for tea as regularly anymore. Bukan Tengku kurang sihat - he is in good health.

The affable Tengku - among the most polite gentlemen ever - may have gone to the tailors in Savile Row to get some new suits for a new job. That is where British Ministers used to get their new suits tailored as well - when they get appointed to the Cabinet. In the UK they rarely give people Ministerial status and then tell them to go herd cattle or something ridiculous like that. It does not happen.

Then I also heard this other piece of news. Pemandu has a Minister in charge ie Idris Jala who does not have a lesen memandu yang sah.  The EPU (Economic Plunder Unit) is headed by another Minister Wahid Omar Al Warak. The third blunt point in this trident is Teraju which lo and behold  does not have a Minister in place - well not yet.

Talk is a new Minister or someone with Ministerial status is going to be appointed to head Teraju. Like how Shahrizat has been appointed to dont know what but with Ministerial status.

Of course if a Minister is to be appointed to head Teraju then the Minister would need new suits. Especially if the Minister-to-be's suits are quite worn out - considering that the last time he was a Minister the Vietnam War had just ended 12 years before, the Twin Towers in New York were still new and the Sungai Klang was yet of another strange colour.

So folks I hope you can add three and three. The answer is half past six.  Bottom line is Tengku Razaleigh has been thwarted from contesting the UMNO presidency. Hence no sideshow in the UMNO presidency run this time around. Depa punya takut.

The other news I heard is that people have been given instructions to do what they have to do to preserve the status quo in UMNO. No. 1 and No. 2 memang sudah kow tim. But the three incumbent VPs will also remain. The Ketua Wanita and Ketua Pemuda will remain.

The Ketua Pemuda has been told to mobilise his gurkhas to support the Ketua Wanita. Jadi Maznah akan hilang deposit.

Lets lighten up. Here is Seman Wau Bule. Soon this may be the corporate song at Teraju.
