Anwar discussed the the appointment of YDP MAIPP with Guan Eng

Hmmm... sounds pretty straightforward right?

After all Anwar is the leader of the Opposition coalition and Guan Eng is the Chief Minister of Pulau Pinang, there is only one problem...

The power to appoint Yang DiPertua Majlis Agama Islam Pulau Pinang rests with the Yang Dipertuan Agong as the protector of Islam in states without Sultans.

So what is Anwar doing discussing the appointment of the YDP of MAIPP with a Non-Muslim Chinese Chief Minister, who clearly has no locus over the adminstration of Islam in the state..

So is anwar just playing puks? main wayang with the electorates?

Even now, as power is so far away from him, he is willing to auction the highest post of the administrator of Islam and Muslim affairs to the highest bidder, just for a few votes

Perhaps Anwar thinks beign PM is beneath him, maybe he thinks beign President is not good enough, maybe he wants to be Agong
