Anwar Fiasco 2

Anwar Fiasco 2

The latest development in the Anwar's Fiasco shows that Anwar and his cohorts are well ahead in their psywar and psyops counter actions. Once again the Police is being made the target in yet another allegation of malfeasance that it had detained Dr Osman Abdul Hamid from Pusrawi who examined Saiful before he made the Police report. That medical examination purportedly stated that Saiful was not sodomised and yet Saiful lodged the Police report all the same. Why?

The Police categorically denied the allegation although admitted that Dr Osman's statement was recorded. He is said to be from Myanmar and is missing, probably in hiding but for how long as he has to earn a living. It is highly unlikely for the Police to keep him incommunicado as they do not have any reason to do so.

Anwar's psywar and psyops are so well planned that thus far he has succeeded to a certain extent in manipulating and twisting the minds of the general public that sense of mistrust and suspicion on whatever actions the Police in particular and the Government in general are taking on his case. The conspiracy theory has gained positive response from his supporters in US and other countries.

His actions and reactions are clear indication that he is challenging and questioning the well established criminal justice system in the country. He repeatedly emphasized in varied versions his distrust and lost of faith in the said system. What then is the alternative?

It is rather doubtful that the Police in particular has any political agenda whatsoever in this case. Police officers are not trained in the art or the act of political conspiracy or political blackmail. The are trained and required to enforce the law which they fully understand could be equally enforceable on them if they cross the line.

But Anwar and company are continuously beating the war drum and trying to put the Government under seige. The various actions conducted by him including the press conferences and all the time pointing accusing fingers at the Police and the Government are clear provocations by someone who is beginning to show that he is distraught, disoriented and lossing his balance as well.

The Police must wrap up the investigation early and ensure that justice is done. They must also make sure that no stone is unturned and at the end of the day take him to court.

kzso - the truth will prevail
