Possible debris spotted in Indian Ocean off Australia
- two objects floating in southern Indian Ocean off Australia
- spotted by satellite four days ago !!
- 2,500 km (1,500 miles) southwest of Perth
- measured 24 metres (79 ft) long
- water several thousand metres deep
- second object 5 metres (16 feet) long.

- dimensions consistent with 777-200ER wing, 27 metres
- large size suggest intact when it went into water
- depth of water extremely challenging
- into water around 180-250 miles to the west
- ocean ridge about 9,800 feet deep
- area around it is close to 16,400 feet deep
My comments : The Americans saw this FOUR DAYS ago on 16th March, 2014. Then they informed the Australians. An Aussie plane has already been over the site. They have told the Aussie Prime Minister. He then called our PM today - four days after the first sighting. A merchant ship has been diverted to the area.
