Three Things Anwar Wants You To Forget

Ezam : 3 Perkara Paling Anwar Takuti by AIDC 

• KUALA LUMPUR 2 Jun – Anwar Ibrahim didakwa menganjurkan siri perhimpunan haram di seluruh negara kerana mahu mengalih tumpuan rakyat daripada tiga perkara yang paling ditakutinya.

Ketiga-tiga perkara itu ialah 

i.     rayuan kes liwat Mohd. Saiful Bukhari Azlan

ii.   isu pencerobohan kumpulan pengganas Kiram di Lahad Datu, Sabah 

iii. pendedahan Nallakaruppan berhubung aktiviti seks beliau

• Ahli Dewan Negara, Senator Ezam Mohd. Noor berkata, Anwar akan memastikan ketiga-tiga perkara tersebut ‘dilenyapkan’ daripada minda rakyat walaupun tindakannya itu akan mengundang kemudaratan terhadap agama, bangsa dan negara.
• “Anwar sememangnya cenderung untuk melakukan pelbagai tindakan terdesak bagi memastikan ‘pekung’ di dadanya tersisip rapi dalam bajunya kerana beliau tahu ketiga-tiga perkara itu akan menyebabkan karier politiknya boleh terkubur.
• “Jadi, dalam tindakan terdesak terbaharunya ini, beliau mengheret penyokongnya untuk turun ke jalan supaya perhatian rakyat teralih daripada isu sebenar yang menyelubungi Anwar,” katanya 
• Mengulas lanjut, Ezam berkata, politik yang dibawa Anwar bukan berlandaskan menyelesaikan masalah rakyat atau negara tetapi semata-mata untuk memuaskan nafsu peribadinya sahaja.
• Bukti paling jelas, katanya, ialah pendedahan sahabat karib Anwar iaitu bekas Naib Presiden Indonesia, Jusuf Kalla yang memberitahu Ketua Pembangkang itu sanggup berbohong dan mengkhianati janji kerana mahu menjadi Perdana Menteri.

Nope we have not forgotten. The appeal on that Saiful Bukhari case is coming up in July. July  is just four weeks away.  If the appeal is successful, Anwar Ibrahim could be somewhere else in about four to five weeks time.

What are the chances that the Court of Appeal will convict him as charged?

Recall that during the trial, Anwar applied to impeach the Judge. Upon his request, the trial was postponed a record 55 times (or more).

After close of the prosecution's case, the judge ruled that defence should be called. The judge ruled that Saiful Bukhari's testimony was sound and that a case had been established for the defence to be called. The judge actually said a bit more than that to support his decision to call for the defence.

Then, quite unexpectedly and to everyone's surprise the Judge acquitted Anwar Ibrahim on technical grounds. Something about the way the DNA sample was handled.  

So lets see what the Court of Appeal will say.  Anwar wants us to forget the appeal that will be coming up. 

Here is something that Anwar does not understand. The people have indeed forgotten the case. It does not affect them anymore. The Courts have proven themselves to be independent. 

Yazid Syufaat the terrorist suspect has been acquitted by the Court. Reason : he was only planning to kill people outside the country. That is not a crime in Malaysia. The people did not get overly excited.

Then confused street protesters have been released from remand and just asked to go home.  So the Malaysian courts are really quite independent.  They were rearrested and charged again. The people did not get overly excited also. 

So whichever way the Court rules on the Saiful Bukhari sodomy case, the people will not get overly excited.  This is what Anwar does not know. People are getting tired. My readers want me to Blog about Islam and "religious" issues. 

Nallakaruppan's case will also resume. Anwar  is suing Nalla. Nalla wants to sing karaoke in Court. He has already picked out his songs. They are all songs that Anwar will understand. They are Tamil songs.
