" Anwar has been a controversial figure since his student days in early 70's.

He is gullible, has got the gift of the gap, he can be lovable at the same time ruthless.

This time around Anwar is caught.

His body language and hasty reactions are signs that he is fully conscious that he is cornered with that report of sodomy by Saiful.

That is why he refuses to have his DNA examined.Anwar is a born agitator and provocator.

He knows how to exploit a given situation and currently he feels that the situation in the country is generally to his advantage.

The PM is weak and the Cabinet disarray. The increase in the price of oil and essential commodities have alienated majority of the rakyat from the Govt.

Anwar is fully exploiting this.That's why he has strategised his movements on 16 Jul simply to create a diversion and lure the Police into his trap.

Fortunately the Police is not stupid and must have prior inelligence of Anwar's move and therefore decided to take preemptive action by "hijacking" him midway to his house.

Otherwise if he succeeded to enter his house then it would be another stand-off which could be bloody.

Hundreds of his supporters were there.

Anwar is just another citizen who has been officially alleged to have committed a crime and therefore the treatment on him must be correct and proper, nothing more and nothing less and that is what the Police is doing.

Anwar on the other hand agitated his supporters to make him different from ordinary citizens and to create the impression that he is once again a victim of a big conspiracy.

The Police must proceed with whatever legal process and as the common remarks go - "Let's the Court decide."
