[TO ANWAR, AZIZAH, IZZAH, TIAN CHUA, DAP AND PKR! READ THIS!] Rejected!

No way out (at least for now) for Anwar Ibrahim.

He already received a letter from the Prison Department on March 4 that clearly turned down a request for him to attend the Parliament session.

So, no point for his party and supporters to purse the case, no matter how dejected they felt. Consider it closed!
KUALA LUMPUR, March 9 (Bernama) -- The Prisons Department has turned down an application by jailed Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to be allowed to attend the first meeting of the third session of the 13th Parliament which opened today.
Prisons commissioner-general Datuk Seri Zulkifli Omar, in a statement here today, said the decision was made after consideration and based on Section 31(1)(a) of the Prisons Act 1995.
He said a letter to that effect was sent to Anwar on March 4.
Zulkifli said the Prisons Department had received requests from Anwar's daughter, Lembah Pantai Member of Parliament Nurul Izzah Anwar, and also from a legal firm, Messrs Daim & Gamany, for Anwar, who is Permatang Pauh Member of Parliament, to be allowed to attend the Dewan Rakyat sitting scheduled for March 9 to April 9.
Section 31(1)(a) of the Prisons Act 1995 provides for the commissioner-general to order, in writing, a prisoner to be taken to any place in Malaysia, after being satisfied that there are reasonable grounds requiring the presence of the prisoner at that place.
And read what former Cabinet minister Zaid Ibrahim (pic) says, that in no circumstancesAnwar should be granted 'leave' to attend the Dewan Rakyat sitting, hence its better that Pakatan Rakyat appoints a new Opposition Leader.

Just 'eject' him, and elect a new one.
Former law minister Datuk Zaid Ibrahim has urged Pakatan Rakyat to quit its “childishness” over Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s absence in Parliament and to appoint a new Opposition leader.
He said there was no law which allowed a prisoner to be outside jail.
“Pakatan making noises about Anwar not in Parliament is childish. Under what provision of the law prisoner allowed to be outside prison?
“If there is none then you move on. You cannot expect BN (Barisan Nasional) to break the law to please you.
“Appoint a new leader is the sensible thing to do. Wearing black is good for movies but changes nothing,” he said in a series of tweets on Monday.
Zaid was referring to the decision of some Pakatan MPs to wear black in Parliament on Monday to protest Anwar’s imprisonment as well as the Prisons Department’s refusal to grant him leave to attend the session.
Is it so difficult to comprehend?
