Karpal: Allow ..MPs to watch sex video in Parliament

PETALING JAYA: DAP chairman Karpal Singh has called for the sex video ..to be screened in Parliament. . . “Screening the video within the four walls of Parliament would provide MPs with immunity from criminal or other forms of liability,” he said in a statement yesterday. . . . Karpal also admitted to calling for a public viewing of a sex video involving Vijandran

First of all Karpal Sing is misleading. He is being dishonest. Some would say he is lying.
.
There is no real immunity even in Parliament from committing a crime. Whether four walls of Parliament or no, a crime is a crime. Datuk Hee Yit Foong the ADUN Perak is now in Court answering accusations that she sprayed pepper spray at a DAP guy inside the Dewan Undangan Negeri Perak.

If an MP kicks or punches another MP inside Parliament he can be arrested and then tried and jailed for GBH (grievous bodily harm). A crime is a crime. An MP cannot give another MP a rubber cheque inside Parliament just to avoid being prosecuted. It is still a wrong thing to do.

An MP cannot sell drugs in Parliament and say that he has immunity. Similarly an MP cannot distribute contraband (smuggled or illegal goods) inside Parliament and say he has immunity. A crime is a crime. Pornography is definitely contraband. If you distribute or show pornography in Parliament it does not make it any less of an offense.

Karpal already committed a crime when he kept the Vijandran tapes for three years with him from 1989 - 1992. That is possession of pornography - for three years ! !

When he transported the pornography to Parliament, that was transportation and distribution of porn. Yet another crime. He should have called the Police.

Now he is openly advocating that the people of Malaysia (MPs are also people of Malaysia, as well as human beings too) should break the law again and watch porn in a public place (ie Parliament). This is clearly in breach of the Sedition Act, one of whose branches is ‘inciting people to disobey the Law’.

Where is the AG? Charge Karpal Singh lah. He has broken so many laws. But why the about turn? Why has Karpal “rolled over”? Is it time to play the other side already?

Here is a scenario. Lelaki Y has been tremendously useful to the DAP to break Malay unity. The DAP’s fortunes depend entirely on breaking Malay unity. Hence Lelaki Y has been their ’anugerah Tuhan’ to help them break Malay unity.

Now with so much crap coming out, the time is becoming ripe to abandon Lelaki Y. Even the DAP cannot withstand the public odium if that video goes public. So Lelaki Y is being discarded.

But there is no harm extracting one more last ounce of ‘usefulness’ from Lelaki Y. If Lelaki Y goes to jail, the DAP will have another ‘cause’ to champion. The DAP will kickoff the ‘Free Lelaki Y’ campaign again. That should get them some sympathy votes. And money can be collected. So both inside or outside jail, Lelaki Y is most useful for the DAP. The only unknown option is what if Lelaki Y splits from the country? Say he runs off somewhere outside the country. Then what happens?

There is pressure building up inside PAS to break ranks with Lelaki Y. The DAP grassroots is also generating some heat. Even their hypocrisy has a limit to it.
