CHALLENGER – The youth speak up against Najib Razak
There is still hope for all of us when the young ones have the thinking abilities far better than the current crop of ministers and politicians in this country..

PRESS STATEMENT
CHALLENGER – Change Led by the Young Generation
Who does this group represent?Youth leaders from all walks of life. These are former and current elected Youth leaders, National Award Winners & Civil Society Leaders. Some are pro government, some are pro opposition, while some are undecided. However, we are united win sending a strong message of rejection towards the current administration.
We, The Youth Leaders of Malaysia,
have lost faith in Datuk Seri Najib and his allies, as their actions have jeopardised and will sacrifice the future of Malaysia.
have lost faith in Datuk Seri Najib and his allies, as their actions have jeopardised and will sacrifice the future of Malaysia.
Our love for Malaysia is unparalleled. It is therefore our duty to speak up against those who seek to wreck our beloved country apart. We, the generation that will inherit the leadership of this country, we have an obligation to save the future from the present.
We reject DS Najib and his allies for the following reason;
Gross mishandling of the 1MDB Crisis
This crisis transcends other cases of corruption as it involves a consistent assault upon Malaysia’s pillars of governance.
We have lost faith in the Najib Razak Administration’s ability to handle the 1MDB crisis in an independent and unbiased manner. The investigation on this crisis has been compromised due to external interference and intimidation. The MACC has had their officers arbitrarily transferred out during the course of the investigation. The former Attorney general unexpectedly replaced. The Bank Negara report ignored. The MACC recommendation sidelined. Top members of the Special branch removed or reassigned. Former members of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) being promoted in the midst of the crisis.
The media has not been left out from this assault. The Edge, Sarawak Report, Medium and recently, The Malaysian Insider have all been suspended due to their critical reporting on 1MDB and the Prime Minister’s alleged corruption scandal.
We have also seen laws being abused in the name of “National Security”. The unjust application of the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act to detain Datuk Seri Khairuddin and Matthias Chang is reprehensible. We regret the arbitrary travel ban placed on YB Rafizi Ramli & YB Tony Pua. We also regret the intimidation tactics used against our youth activists like Fahmi Reza.
It is also disconcerting to see government officials being punished for speaking up on this issue. Tan Sri Muhyiddin, Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir, Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal and many more have been punished for speaking up. This signals a worrying trend to silence dissenters in an attempt to conceal the truth from coming out.
Our beloved country’s name has been smeared across the world due to this crisis. Hong Kong, Sweden, Singapore, The United Kingdom and The United States have all commenced investigation on this matter. This has also been covered by news giants like The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, BBC, Aljazeera and many more. The shame which it brings to our beloved country will take years to repair.
These continuous assaults will leave an everlasting wound to the future of Malaysia. The Future which the youth of today will inherit from the present.
We will no longer silence ourselves while our future is robbed from us.

Kecintaan kami terhadap Malaysia sukar ditandingi. Oleh yang demikian, adalah menjadi tanggungjawab kami untuk bersuara terhadap mereka yang menghancurkan negara tercinta ini. Sebagai generasi yang akan mewarisi kepimpinan negara akan datang, adalah menjadi kewajipan kami untuk menyelamatkan masa depan dari sekarang. Kami menolak DS Najib dan sekutunya atas sebab musabab berikut;
Salah Tadbir Urus Yang Ketara Dalam Krisis 1MDB
The Edge.
Krisis ini juga mendapat perhatian media-media luar seperti The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, BBC, Aljazeera dan banyak lagi.
