[ouchhh...] ... HIGH INCOME NATION HAS NO MONEY FOR RM30 TOUCH N GO TOP UP ! !

[ouchhh...] ... HIGH INCOME NATION HAS NO MONEY FOR RM30 TOUCH N GO TOP UP ! !

I hear that the Khazanah / MAB dunggus have made big losses at their airport operations in Turkey.  They are managing Turkey's main airport. The investment is making big losses.

US1.4 BILLION +  US300 Million = US1.7 Billion or RM7.5 Billion.

So how much of that has been lost already?
This is the "Islamic brotherhood" crap again.
Turkey is Muslim. Malaysia is Muslim.
Muslim is good.
It must be good to invest in Muslim countries.

Err... how many hundred millions have you morons lost so far in Turkey?

How many jobs did you dunggus create for Malaysians with that RM7.5 Billion invested in Turkey?  Five jobs? 50 jobs ? 500 jobs ?   For RM7.5 BILLION ? ?

Here is some other 'High Income Nation" news :

Govt says no to minimum RM30 top-up for Touch n' Go

hiways to postpone min RM30 Touch n' Go top up
so as not to burden motorists

min RM30 top up proposed by Hiway Concession Companies
to overcome congestion at top up lanes at peak hours

ministry instructed concession companies to postpone
find other ways to overcome congestion at toll plazas

gomen concerned with burden on consumers
including the B40 category

  - BERNAMA

My comments :  You can see this almost everyday at the Toll Plazas, especially in KL and the Klang Valley.  The Peroduas, Protons and small cars all line up at the Tambah Nilai and Bayaran Tunai lanes at the toll gates.  These are the folks who live almost hand to mouth. The urban poor.

Want to guess their agama and bangsa?

They actually prefer the Bayar Tunai lanes because they can then carry just enough toll money for the journey.

Then you have the Mercedes, Audis, BMWs,  Camrys, Accords etc that just sail through the Smart Tag lanes.  You can see their balance remaining RM100, RM200 etc. These are the people who have cash to meet their daily living expenses.

Want to guess their agama and bangsa?

The minimum for Touch N Go is RM10.  Now they want to increase the minimum to RM30.  Even the RM10 is a burden. That is why the gomen has turned down the proposal to increase the minimum Touch N Go to RM30.

The Toll Operators find it not feasible (it is a loss to them) to dedicate one toll lane just to collect RM10 top ups for Touch N Go. It does not cover their costs. They are providing a social service.

They prefer RM30 minimum. To cover costs and maybe make some profit.

But the people aint got no money for a minimum top up of RM30.  This is 'High Income Nation' ok.

Where "Chief the Thief" is so damned proud that he has put seven million people on the poor peoples' list to receive duit sedekah BR1M.

Pretty soon, the people will not have money to pay for the toll hiways.  They will take alternative routes or not travel at all.  Then the Toll Operators will face cash flow problems as well.

The dynamics of the market has changed.

Poor are many.
Poor is BR1M.
BR1M is votes.
So poor is good.

Just reimpose the Bayar Tunai lanes. Then the Protons and Kancils with just enough cash to pay RM1.80 between Sg Besi and Kajang will still take the toll hiway. Otherwise they will take the old road.

By the way does PLUS know that AFTER 4 PM the Touch N Go lanes DO NOT ACCEPT anymore top ups?

This is what the Toll Booth girl told me at the Toll Booth  at Exit 213,  KL - Seremban Hiway.  Yet the girl is sitting there  at the Tambah Nilai Lane (AFTER 4PM) just to tell the cars that drive up - Lepas 4 Petang tak boleh top up.

I keep saying, 'depa tak tahu niaga'.
Nak bagi duit pun depa tak mahu terima.
Sial punya bodoh.

So how much did you lose in your airport operations in Turkey?

1MDB: Penyelesaian Atas Kertas

1MDB: Penyelesaian Atas Kertas

Menteri Sendiri Tak Percaya

Saya kenal dia sejak dia bekerja dengan anak syarikat Kumpulan New Straits Times Press (M) Berhad sehinggalah dia jadi Pengarah Urusan CI Holdings Berhad. Jadi dia tahu hal korporat dan hutang-piutang.

Maaflah kalau saya terlepas pandang.

Semua petunjuk utama ekonomi merudum.

Kerana Najib Sayang Jho Low

Jho Low (kiri sekali) kunci keselamat isi rumah Najib

Wallahuaklam.

FIKIRKAN…GST SANGAT PENTING, PENYELAMAT BUAT NAJIB, KERAJAAN BN???

FIKIRKAN…GST SANGAT PENTING, PENYELAMAT BUAT NAJIB, KERAJAAN BN???

“Saya tak tahu mengapa BN tak faham ilmu hisab.

[interesting question and article...] ... What does the USD1.2 billion promise to pay IPIC means?

[interesting question and article...] ... What does the USD1.2 billion promise to pay IPIC means?

Together with other Malaysians, I read the short statement by 1MDB on its settlement with IPIC. It is short one. Despite that, we know how crooked Najib and his government are.

We who learn statistics in economics, were told, something like this is like a bikini. What it reveals is suggestive, but what it hides is vital. The vital information is still hidden. The government does not want us to know. Fortunately we have many right thinking and public spirited individuals who expose the government’s duplicity.

The secret of good government is good people. Bad people are ruining our country now. The government protects itself by dividing the people. They divide us into those anti Malay and anti Islam.

Choose BN, we are letting this country to be run by crooks. The crooks are doing everything to avoid going to court and will sell everything to recover money stolen.

A lot of money has been revealed stolen as a result of Malaysia’s arbitration with IPIC. When 1MDB insisted that it paid IPIC USD3.5bllion, IPIC said it did not. The government puts up a display of virtuous indignation saying how can IPIC deny receiving payment. We have proofs here and there.

IPIC brought the matter to the court of international arbitration in London. But before all can be revealed in court, 1MDB agreed to pay up and negotiate further on how to pay the vast sums of money it owed to IPIC.

Our ministry of Finance or MOF will pay IPIC a total of USD1.2biilion in two instalments. That is payment for the interests, cash advances and loans made to 1MDB or paid on behalf of 1MDB by IPIC .  let us hope we get the consent judgment by the end of May 2017 as stated.

1MDB started as a private company. It ended up a public company. Money was stolen and carted away by private individuals. The cost to it all is now borne by the public. This is the business as usual philosophy of UMNO people and its advisers. Privatise all the benefits, make public pay for the costs.

What does payment of USD1.2 billion result in? It results in Najib not having to stand in the dock and be grilled by questions. So Najib is actually finding ways to avoid going to court. Despite talking big and sounding virtuous and pretending angry at IPIC for denying it was paid, Najib and the government lied.

So he pays up a little. But it is a ruse. It is just a refined and elevated way of saying- boss I pay u a bit, so don’t take action against me ok? The lawyer termed it more stylishly as a no predicate offence. In practise it means, using some legal device to stop being brought to court. That is devious.

Malaysia through 1MDB/MOF will take over all the financial obligations associated with the 2 bond issues guaranteed by IPIC. The total amount is USD3.5billion. It frees IPIC from responsibility of paying bondholders should Malaysia refuse to honour her obligations.

In doing its business, most of them shadowy and suspicious, 1MDB ran up huge debts. More than USD50 billion. It borrowed some USD3.5billion from IPIC to pay off some portion of the mountainous debt. IPIC wants the money it loaned.

The USD3.5billion loan has increased to USD4.8 billion with interests. The interest on the USD3.5billion is therefore USD1.3 billion. There is another small loan amounting to USD500millon including interest.

So, that s why IPIC is demanding USD6.5 billion in total.

Read my lips: Malaysia must pay USD6.5 billion to IPIC. If it pays the USD1.2, it still owes IPIC USD5.3 billon.

Somebody stole USD3.5billion. it owes IPIC 6.5 billion, that’s USD10 billion. It’s not doubled. It has more than doubled.

The money that was stolen consists of the following. It’s USD3.5 billion that disappeared into thin air- or rather into Aabar BVI’s account. It owes a principal sum of USD3.5 billion to IPIC. The interest on the USD3.5 billion is USD1.3billion. It owes USD1.2 billion plus interest it is now promising to pay. Then there is another loan from IPIC amounting to some USD500million.

A total of USD6.5 billion. Plus the USD3.5 billion stolen- the amount is a whopping USD10 billion.

1MDB is responsible to the USD3.5bliion to bondholders. That’s an IOU to bond holders.
So IPIC got back whatever payments it made in addition to releasing itself from USD3.5billion guarantee on the bond issues. It saves its neck. If it doesn’t threaten Malaysia with a court case, it may end up paying bond holders.

So 1MDb and the government pay USD1.2 billion. It says it will pay with the money it got from the sale of the fund units stashed in Cayman Islands. My guess, is the fund units will be sold to who else, but China.

If the government is transparent, define clearly what are fund units? What the hell are they?
Leaders can go to bed with China, but asks the common Malay to quarrel with the common Chinese. Some Chinese do not see this game.

Let us be clear. The USD1.2 billion is separate loan from the USD3.5billion loan from IPIC.  The USD3.5 billion was a separate loan given to 1MDB to pay off its mountain of debts. The debt is over USD50 billion now.

The promise to pay IPIC USD1.2 billion reveals the duplicitous methods used by 1MDB. We now know, that 1MDB did not actually pay USD3.5 billon to IPIC, it was channelled illegally into Aabar BVI account. There was a conspiracy involving probably Najib to transfer USD3.5 billion into Aabar BVI.

What does this mean? It means 1MDB and Najib lied to us and IPIC was telling the truth when it said, it did not receive any USD3.5bn payment. the money was paid into Aabar BVI account.

Which means at all material time, 1MDB knew it ferreted out USD3.5 billion and paid the sum into a bogus account operated by the two Arabs.  The company is the infamous Aabar BVI a close copy of the true Aabar PJS, which truly belongs to IPIC.

Those involved in this illegal transfer of USD3.5 billion into Aabar BVI’s account must be brought to justice. So it’s true, Najib is no transformer, he is a master money transferor.
Sometime ago i wrote on this blog. -

Where did the  USD3.5billion payment meant for IPIC go to? We now know it went to Aabar BVI. It was stolen and the people who made this theft possible were in 1MDB

It means a sum of USD3.5billon was stolen by Najib and his gang.  Even though Najib promises to pay UD12.billion to IPIC, the payment does not erase its obligations to pay USD3.5 billion to bond holders. I said, the USD1.2 billion will be paid by the sale of fund units to China. But what if China doesn’t want to buy and the parties fored to buy the fund units are people like EPF, KWAP and other GLCs?

Najib and co must answer us what actions are they planning to take on te thieves of 1MDB?
Just to remind ourselves- the USD 1.2billon has not been actually paid. We have only promised to pay. The amounts ‘owed’ by 1MDB are:-

a)    USD1.2billion which represent the interest payments, cash advances, loans outside the principal amount of USD3.5 billion which are made to 1MDB or aid on behalf of 1MDB.
b)    USD3.5billion stolen by Aabar BVI.
c)     USD3.5billion loan by IPIC
d)    USD500million loan plus interest. .
e)    Interest on the USD3.5billion loan amounting to USD1.3billion

With the IPC deal, the total amount of money shouldered by 1MDB is  10 billion or more.
Did anyone benefit from the extortious fees charged by Goldman Sachs? For illustration let us say as follows. The market fee is USD1 million. Goldman Sachs charged USD10 million. USD9 million constitutes the extortious portion. Extortion is a crime. The extortious part of the fees can be considered stolen money too.

Even though Najib agrees to pay USD1.2 billion, we must remember that a crime has been committed. USD3.5 was stolen and sent to Aabar BVI. Some people in 1MDB colluded with the 2 Arabs in spiriting out 1MDB’s money. This payment of USD1.2billion does not erase the crime committed.

Choose UMNO and BN, we are allowing crooks to run this country. They will steal and ruin this country.

[hot!!...] ... Hishammuddin's New Power: The Dagger is Unsheathed

[hot!!...] ... Hishammuddin's New Power: The Dagger is Unsheathed

THE propaganda machine of the government and Barisan Nasional (BN) is going nut trying to play down the growing public skepticism over the recent appointment of (Datuk Seri) Hishammuddin Hussein as Minister with Special Functions in the Prime Minister’s Department.

[REMINDER. Anonymous comments will not be published.]

Read this April 19 New Straits Times’ digital edition headline - Hishammuddin's new portfolio will strengthen Home, Foreign Ministries: Zahid

In simple English, what the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs (Datuk Seri) Ahmad Zahid Hamidi was saying is this:

(Datuk Seri) Hishammuddin Hussein’s appointment as Minister with Special Functions would strengthen the Home and Foreign Ministries.

If Hishammuddin’s appointment “would strengthen the Home and Foreign Ministries” the inferred meaning is the two ministries are either weak or are not strong enough.

That could not be good for Ahmad Zahid because he is the Home Minister. Similarly it reflects negatively on the Foreign Minister, (Datuk Seri) Anifah Aman.

There have been rumours that the Sabahan Anifah is contemplating resignation. It makes sense, therefore, that one of Hishammuddin's additional power is to oversee the Foreign Ministry.

Ironically, this inference was confirmed by Ahmad Zahid himself in the intro of the NST report when he was quoted as saying that “the new tasks assigned to Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, as the Special Functions Minister, are meant to further strengthen the government's and party's leadership institutions.”

What Ahmad Zahid was saying is this. The leadership of the government and the party was not strong enough that Hishammuddin has to be appointed to make it stronger.

There’s no big problem agreeing with Ahmad Zahid on that. The government and party institutions have become week as a result of manipulations by the scandal-tainted Prime Minister (Datuk Seri I Mappadulung Daeng Mattimung Karaeng Sandrobone Sultan Abdul Jalil), Mohd Najib Abdul Razak.

Ahmad Zahid appeared to be in such state of confusion and shock that no matter how hard he tried to justify Hishammuddin’s elevation and put on a strong face, he failed.

While saying that Hishammuddin’s new role would help strengthen the Home and Foreign Ministries, he went on to say “Hishammuddin's new portfolio is not designed to supersede the roles of the Home Ministry and the Foreign Ministry.”

He said: "We have discussed several tasks for Hishammuddin as the Special Functions Minister, which include boosting the leadership institutions of the government and party. I am confident that with his vast experience in government he will be able to help me and the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.”

The NST further quoted Ahmad Zahid as saying that Hishammuddin would assist him and the Prime Minister to address domestic and international issues.

"In my opinion, Hishammuddin is capable of carrying out his additional duty. His new role is not meant to overtake the tasks of the Home Ministry or the Foreign Ministry, but to enhance and complement the role of the prime minister and myself," Zahid told reporters after receiving a courtesy call from Hishammuddin at his office.(Read here).

It was reported that Hishammuddin’s first task as Special Functions Minister is to monitor security in Sabah, where he will be working closely with Zahid and Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman.

Zahid and Musa jointly chair the Eastern Sabah Security Zone (Esszone), while Najib is the Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) chairman.

In what appears to be a desperate attempt to salvage his tattered reputation, Ahmad Zahid claimed that it was he who suggested that Najib appoint Hishammuddin as the Special Functions Minister three months ago.

"The three of us (Najib, Zahid and Hishammuddin) have something in common. All of us held the post of Defence Minister. So, many things can be done as Defence Minister.

"Hishammuddin's new portfolio will enable him to help me and the prime minister.

"This does not mean that Hishammuddin is representing us, but he is representing the government," he added.

The Plot Thickens

I think that there could be another twist to Ahmad Zahid’s claim that he proposed Hishammuddin’s appointment. He could be doing that upon realising just how unpopular and burdensome Najib has become in recent months.

One way of addressing the problem is to give the impression that Najib is loosening his grips on power and some form of succession is being planned.

It works. There are enough people who believe that Najib is preparing to make an exit.

He might be leaving for good or is merely testing the water and hatching a new survival plan.

It’s better for him not to lead the BN in coming general election than risk defeat.

Losing to the opposition means risking a trial and possibly imprisonment. So it’s better to step aside and let Hishammuddin take charge.

There are many ways of doing this. He could, for instance, go on an extended leave, say for several weeks, to give him rāzônˈdetrə to appoint Hishammuddin as Acting Prime Minister.

Could the Prime Minister be saying goodby?
He could have been told by the party that it would lose if he continues to lead. That would be a disaster for him and his family.

My Le Carrean instinct is this. He goes on leave. Makes Hishammuddin Acting PM. Vacates the Pekan seat and hands it over to someone he trust, for example one his sons, resigns the PM post but keeps Umno presidency. The BN wins. He makes a comeback by contesting in the Pekan seat or any other parliamentary seat in a by-election.

These actions would put the opposition in a bind. With him gone (albeit temporarily), the antagonism towards the BN would be reduced and the opposition’s assault would be blunted. That is if the opposition falls into the trap.

The End is Near for Ahmad Zahid

Irrespective of whether my Le Carrean plot happens or not, Ahmad Zahid’s political journey has hit a bump. Hishammuddin has leapfrogged over him.

But it’s not the end of the road. While Hishammuddin may enjoy the support of the BN’s non-Malay parties, Ahmad Zahid is stronger in Umno.

Before Hishammuddin’s appointment, Ahmad Zahid could even be stronger than Najib. This had caused worries among Najib’s and Hishammuddin’s supporters that they plotted to weaken him.

Hishammuddin-Zahid rivalry: Not anymore a laughing matter
Najib knows when the crunch comes blood is thicker than water. Ahmad Zahid may be his long time pal and compadre but Hishammuddin is his cousin. For that he gets the cheer for the last mile.

Wallahuaklam.

Datuk,

Pepatah orang putih kata, “Blood is thicker than water”.

Datuk,

The recent developments in 1MDB.

The Singapore papers report an ongoing settlement.

However, everything goes back to the ECRL deal with China.

The leaked term sheet of the ERCL contract reveals this.

Total CCCC cost of acquiring all remaining parts of 1MDB and its worthless companies and fund units: USD7.5bn or MYR30 bn.

Term Sheet, China’s obligations:

(a) End July, CCCC assumes USD4.78 bn of 1MDB (i.e. 1MDB Energy) debt to IPIC, due between Oct 2016 and 2022.

(b) Pay on 1MDB’s behalf USD850 mn to IPIC;

(c) Buys at USD315 mn, two Jho Low-affiliated companies, Loh Corporation Berhad and Putra Perdana Berhad.

(d) Acquisition of 1MDB Ayer Hitam (Penang land, at USD850 mn, payment to IPIC);

(e) Acquisition of 1MDB Global Inv. (USD940 mn);

(f) Acquisition of 1MDB Brazen Sky (USD1.56 bn); and,

(g) Acquisition of 100% of 1MDB Energy Holdings [Price (a) = USD4.78 bn]

The CCCC calculation is the near exact sum in 1MDB total losses (money ‘unverified’), estimated by the Auditor General as well as others.

Doubling the rail contract price returns, by back looping, the cost of bailout from CCCC to Malaysia so that, on the surface, Najib Razak is seen to have not only resolved the 1MDB scam but also without incurring a sen.

This deal wipes clean the slate at 1MDB, completely — with IPIC especially, and with 1MDB Energy (which underwrote the USD bonds along with IPIC); selling one of the last two pieces of land, Ayer Hitam; and by transferring ownership out of Brazen Sky, 1MDB Global Investments, Putra Perdana and others.

It means China picks up all their liabilities, along with all of 1MDB’s criminal past and any asset issued in its name but frozen in the US and elsewhere.

Loh Corporation Berhad and Putra Perdana Berhad have nothing to do with us.

They are Jho Low owned companies.

Hence not only is the Malaysian taxpayer paying double the oost of the ECRL, we are also clearing Jho Low's business debts.

Is this legal?

Of course not.

In fact it should (in a civilized country) enhance Datuk Seri I Mappadulung Daeng Mattimung Karaeng Sandrobone Sultan Abdul Jalil's jail term.

If the Malays were less corrupt then Mappadulung would have been in jail years ago.

Trump is a man with a long history of corruption.

But if he says bad things about Muslims, Americans still vote for him.

Datuk Seri I Mappadulung Daeng Mattimung Karaeng Sandrobone Sultan Abdul Jalil is a man with a long history of corruption.

But if he plays race & religion games, Malays still vote for him.

(Unlike Trump, Mappadulung must also add a lot of $$$$$$$.)

The momentum of the DOJ action has been stalled because Trump fired the people in charge at the DOJ.

We can only hope that the Swiss and Singapore will stay on it, and that the UAE will not lie to cover-up the wrongdoings at IPIC.

Maybe the UAE are a better Muslim country than the corrupt Malaysians.

“Saya masih belum diberi taklimat mengenai keputusan akhir penyelesaian,” kata Johari.

Datuk,

This is the clearest indication that MO1 is trying to "kau thim" the Arabs using money stolen from the overpriced ECRL deal.

Is Johari so lacking in principles that he still wants to keep his job?

Now that Ambrin has been replaced by another "loyal but not smart" (as favoured by MO1), the level of cheating is just going to get worse and worse.

Mereka tidur atas jalan raya ketika krisis Perak atas desakan DAP.

Berkenaan tindakan DoJ, jangan terperanjat kalau digugurkan. Beli satu skuadron jet pejuang F18 Super Hornet lebihan tentera Amerika, banyak lagi kes boleh dibakulsampahkan.

4.Old Friend (your claim not mine), sila baca kenyataan saya mengenai penarikan diri daripada PPBM dalam akhbar Sinar Harian.

Wallahuaklam. Terima kasih.
