Khairul Azwan is a shame!

Police have ceased the investigation into a report by Umno Youth vice-chief Khairul Azwan Harun over a conspiracy to topple the Prime Minister as the complainant has no proof to back his claim.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said after recording Khairul Azwan's statement last Friday, police found that the report was solely based on assumptions.


"He couldn't furnish us with any proof to this allegation, thus we do not wish to continue investigating this case.

"He might have heard or read the 'news' elsewhere, which prompted him to file a report.

“But if you can't provide evidence to an allegation, do not simply lodge a report as it is a waste of our resources," Khalid told reports at a Hari Raya open house at the Selangor police contingent headquarters on Tuesday.

Khairul Azwan had lodged a police report against former attorney-general Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail, former Bank Negara governor Tan Sri Dr Zeti Akhtar Aziz and former Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission chief commissioner Tan Sri Abu Kassim Mohamed.

He claimed that they were suspected to be involved in a conspiracy to topple Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and the Government.

NOTE: Not everyone can become a politician. Whether its Umno, DAP, MCA, PKR, PAS or others, some of them are really crap and nuts. What prompted Khairul to do so, only God and him know. MEMALUKAN! By the way, there were allegations that this guy is 'quite wealthy'. Why not those who find his 'wealth' does not match what he nets, lodge a report with the MACC? And of course, Pemuda Umno boss KJ should take another look at his deputy...

  1. This is not an isolated event, in fact those who lodged reports on the suspected misappropriation involving the 1GLC was also using assumption as the basis of their accusation. If this is not an important issue to both sides of the divide, wonder why a former NST editor was so willing to spend extra effort to write 2 lengthy articles about Azwan's report. ha ha it could be something.

  3. Perbuatan dia ni akan mencerminkan pendirian pemuda umno. Malah, KJ sendiri memberi restu kepadanya untuk buat laporan polis ke atas 3 tokoh yg sudah banyak jasanya kepada negara. Apa pula KJ nak cakap selepas ni?

  6. Kalau baca rencana RPK 3 tan sri tu terlibat dengan ANC. Polis sepatutnya siasat mereka sebagaimana dakwaan memberi maklumat kepada negara asing itu. Tindak tanduk 3 tan sri tu selama ini memang mencurigakan, sebagaimana dilaporkan di media2. Azwan sudah buat yg terbaik. Jangan nanti nasi dah jadi bubur baru nak ambil tindakan. Tapi entahlah kalau polis pun terlibat dengan ANC?
