#MH370 MYSTERY : BREAKING NEWS !! Report: Pilot made call from cockpit before takeoff

Report: Pilot made call from cockpit before takeoff

A report has surfaced that the pilot of missing Malaysia Airlines (MAS) Flight MH370 had made a call from inside the cockpit shortly before take off.

UK-based The Sun said investigators are trying to establish who Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah spoke to in the cockpit minutes before the flight took off from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at 12.41am on March 8.

The hope is that this information can help shed light on why the plane mysteriously vanished from civilian radar less than an hour later, the report added.

Malaysian police does not officially comment on ongoing investigation into the matter but Acting Transport Minister Hishammuddin Hussein (left) had insisted that all 227 passengers and 12 crew of the flight remain innocent until proven guilty.

Police are looking into "human factor" after concluding that the flight's communications were deliberately turned off and the plane was purposely diverted.

Cops revisited Zaharie's and co-pilot Fariq Ab Hamid homes on March 13 after background checks on the flight's passengers by international intelligence agencies ran into a dead end.

In the visit, authorities took Zaharie's flight simulator and are now seeking the US' Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) help inretrieving deleted data from the device.

The Boeing 777-200ER on the KLIA-Beijing route lost communications over the Gulf of Thailand at 1.30am two weeks ago.

Investigators have established that the aircraft made a turn back after losing communications and narrowed is last known position to the northern or southern corridors based on miliary radar andsatellite data.

The northern corridor ranges from the northern Thai border to the borders of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan and the southern corridor runs from Indonesia to the southern Indian Ocean.

To date, 26 countries have mobilised their assets in a multinational search for the missing aircraft but there is no sign as the operation enters its 14th day today.
